SPACE Begins Season Two Production on Hit Series Bitten

Space announced today that production has begun on Season 2 of its original drama series, Bitten,  featuring a new coven of witches.

Commissioned by Space and produced by No Equal Entertainment, Entertainment One Television (eOne), and Hoodwink Entertainment, the 10-episode, second season of the one-hour thriller is set to premiere in 2015 on Space. Shot on location in Toronto, Hamilton, and Hespeler, Ont.,   Season 2 of Bitten was acquired for U.S. broadcast by Syfy.

“It’s been truly gratifying to witness Bitten become the success story we hoped it could be,” said Corrie Coe, Senior Vice-President, Independent Production, Bell Media. “We had always hoped that fans of Kelley Armstrong’s books would become fans of the television series, and it’s wonderful that an even wider audience embraced the first season. Working with such talented cast, crew, and production partners, we have no doubt that Season 2 will intrigue and delight an already rabid fan-base, and recruit new members to The Pack.”

Bitten is executive produced by J.B. Sugar for No Equal Entertainment, John Barbisan, and Patrick Banister for Hoodwink Entertainment, and Tecca Crosby, John Morayniss, and Margaret O’Brien for Entertainment One (eOne). Daegan Fryklind is Showrunner. Executive Producer Fryklind and co-executive producer Wil Zmak return to write for Season 2. Also in the writing room are Michael MacLennan, Jenn Engels, Larry Bambrick, and Garfield Lindsay Miller. eOne is the worldwide distributor for the series
