Brandi BioWith expertise in online fan culture and communities, Brandi Sundby helps FanTrust clients understand and connect with consumers and fans through Web 2.0 strategies.

As a FanTrust Consultant, she is responsible for growing clients’ digital lines of business – directing strategic initiatives, market research, industry and business analysis, and identifying business development and strategic partnership opportunities. Brandi also works with clients to secure project and corporate funding and financing – preparing business and marketing plans, proposals, pitches and deal terms to grant funders and angel investors.

Clients include international broadcast and telecommunications companies such as Alliance Atlantis and Orange Telecom; leading producers of cross-platform properties; video-game producers and post-secondary educational institutions, including Emily Carr University of Art + Design.

While at FanTrust, Brandi has formulated online promotional strategies that incorporate viral video, social networks and widgets; in addition to developing property-specific digital strategies and initiatives that extend across a family of media brands for both television producers and broadcasters. These plans optimized revenue generation through monetization strategies that included digital distribution, ecommerce, digital underwriting, advertiser/ sponsor integration and cross-media content delivery and marketing.

Prior to joining FanTrust, Brandi helped launch ad sales and marketing campaigns for several Canadian online arts and lifestyle magazines.

Brandi has a Bachelor of Arts degree (Honours) from McGill University and completed a post-graduate program in Communication at Simon Fraser University. She serves as President of the McGill University Alumni Association of British Columbia board.
