Derek serves as Fan Coordinator for FanTrust’s clients and contests, including our “I Know What TV Did This Summer” fan video contest – blogging, clocking an infinite number of hours at online video sites, and executing an online fan and blogger outreach strategy. Additionally, Derek supports FanTrust client deliverables through online research and sourcing competitive intelligence.

Derek is currently completing a joint Film/Communications degree at Simon Fraser University and has a Vancouver Film School diploma in Writing for Film and Television. In his remaining spare time, Derek juggles many writing and entertainment-related projects.
