Cannes/MIPCOM, October 3, 2011 - Nominations for the 39th International Emmy® Awards were announced today by The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences at a Press Conference at Mipcom. There are 40 nominees in 10 categories.
Nominations span a record 20 countries: Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, France, Germany, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Portugal, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, The Philippines, and The United Kingdom, The competition has three rounds of judging over a period of 6 months, with participation from over 800 judges in 67 different countries.
